  • What geographical area do you cover?

    We support organisations large and small across the North Yorkshire coastal area, and prefer to operate within an hour’s drive of our base in Filey, near Scarborough. This means we can always ensure our response times are as rapid as possible.

  • What kinds of lifts do you work on?

    Our engineers work on all kinds of lifts, old and new, at apartment buildings, residential homes, and commercial and public buildings. We also care for Scarborough and Whitby’s historic seafront tram lifts.

  • How much do your service packages cost?

    We don’t do a one-size-fits-all package as what is right for one customer might not suit another. We’ll assess your needs and recommend an appropriate service schedule that ensures you’re compliant with regulations and keeps your lift users safe.

  • How long are your service contracts?

    All our service contracts have a one-month notice period, so you’re not tied in any longer than you wish to be.

  • My lift is quite old, are you able to service/repair it?

    We are experienced at working with lifts of any age, and can source, supply and fit components to keep them operating safely and smoothly. We keep spare parts with us so we can carry out fast repairs to most models, and where we need to order parts we source them from genuine manufacturers with short delivery times. Safety is at the heart of our business, and every lift we work on is fully tested before we leave.

  • How quickly can you repair my lift?

    If it’s an emergency, our rapid-response callout service is available 24/7 and we’ll have our on-call engineer on site as quickly as possible. If it’s not an emergency, we’ll come during ‘office hours’ and assess the problem and explain what needs doing, and whether we’re able to fix it there and then or if we’ll need to source new parts, which thanks to our well-established supply chain and willingness to go the extra mile for our customers, we’re usually able to do much faster than other lift repair companies.

  • How quickly can you respond to an emergency?

    Our rapid-response callout service is available 24/7, every day of the year. Your call will go straight through to our on-call engineer, who can be on site as soon as possible. Depending on your exact location, this could be in as little as 10 minutes.

  • My lift is stuck, what should I do?

    If a lift is stuck or not functioning properly, you need an urgent response from a local company. We can ensure that anyone trapped is quickly and safely freed from the lift, and we can make it safe for use again. If you suspect there is a problem with a lift at your building, you should prevent it being used and call in our engineers as soon as possible by ringing 01723 515167.

  • I have a service contract with a different provider, can I still use your callout service?

    Yes, we are able to respond to emergency callouts for lifts that are covered by another provider’s service contract. In most cases you’ll find we are faster, more efficient, and more cost effective.

  • How do I know whether or not I can modernise my lift?

    You’re very welcome to call us for a free, no-obligation conversation about your lift/s. We can visit your site and assess the equipment, then give you recommendations and costings for any specific updates.

  • I manage multiple sites with a lot of lifts, are you able to support me?
